Bess Evans grew up in a family of musicians, so it is no surprise she has made her career out of singing, songwriting and performance. Bess is a dynamic musician who loves people, and has a passion to see them reach their potential, both musically and personally.

After performing in both cover and original bands for over a decade, Bess started teaching in 2010 in a private studio and from two local schools in sunny North Queensland. In 2013, she graduated with honours from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and has since started her own business in Brisbane, sharing her love of music with students of all ages. In July 2016 Bess graduated from the QLD Con with her Masters in Music Studies, Vocal Pedagogy.

Bess desires nothing more than to help her students flourish as musicians and performers; and to help them reach their potential – finding their true quality of sound!

From an early age, Gabby Hanlon was drawn to music and the arts. During her schooling years, she had lessons in classical singing, piano, and speech and drama. She participated in eisteddfods, showcases and talent quests, and sat AMEB exams.

In 2011 Gabby completed a year interning and training with Harvest Rain Theatre Company. After her internship, Gabby returned to Rockhampton and taught singing with Bel Canto Music Academy. During this time she developed speech and drama and music programs for individual and group lessons.

Gabby studied jazz voice for two years at CQ Conservatorium of Music and is now completing a Bachelor of Jazz Voice at QLD Conservatorium of Music. Over the past year, Bess Evans has mentored Gabby in voice, piano and pedagogy.

Gabby is passionate about vocal health and is eager to see people reach their potential, both vocally and personally. She strives to create a warm and encouraging environment in the studio for students to prosper and develop their skills under her care.
